NRL announced loss of Rs. 37.33 for Half Year 2019


National Refinery Limited announced the result of the Half Year where the company has shown the loss of Rs. 37.33. However, the company loss has minimally declined to 22% as compared to the last year loss of Rs. 48.24.

The company loss has declined because of the significant improvement in the Other income which stood at Rs. 615.9 Mn as compared to 165.8 Mn in the corresponding last year showing an increase of 271% annually.

Furthermore, the Revenue of the company for the Half year also stood at Rs. 108.1 Bn showing an increase of 8.5% as compared to the revenue of Rs. 99.6 Bn in 2018. But cost of sales has increased by 11% YoY basis which has caused massive Gross loss of Rs. 2.34 Bn

The finance cost of the company is also decreased to Rs. 1.06 Bn which was Rs. 2.22 Bn during last year.

National Refinery Limited (PSX:NRL) was incorporated in Pakistan on August 19, 1963 as a public limited company. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing, production and sale of a large range of petroleum products.
