Dandot Cement Company Limited (DNCC) has announced the financial results for the six months ended December 31, 2019, whereby it has reported Loss of Rs. 383.5 Mn (EPS: Rs. 0.19), approximately increased by 116% from the last year losses of the same period.
During the period under review, the sales of the company were declined 79.2% and recorded at Rs. 153.8 Mn as compared to the last year. The cost of sales declined by 57% to Rs. 409.08 Mn and the Gross loss was recorded at Rs. 255.1 Mn.
The Other income of the company remained approximately same and stood at Rs. 1.16 Million. However, the Adminstrative expense of the company was reduced during the period to Rs. 20.9 Mn.
Furthermore, the Finance cost of the company increased to Rs. 118.1 Mn. Lower sales and high Finance cost has declined the company’s earning.
