Cement Exports declined by 12.27% on MoM basis

As per the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) report, the nation traded cement exports worth $259.441 Mn during July-June (2019-20) were recorded against the exports of $271.728 Mn during July-June (2018-19). The cement exports saw a reduction of 4.52% during the FY20. 

In tems of quantity, the exports of cement expanded by 10.79% by going up from 6,411,359 metric tons to 7,103,373 metric tons, as indicated by the information. 

In the interim, on a year-to-year basis, the exports of cement expanded by 46.52% during the period of June 2020 when contrasted with a year ago. The exports of cement from the nation during June 2020 were recorded at $16.935 Mn against the fares of $11.558 Mn in June 2019. 

On a month-on-month basis, the exports of cement diminished by 12.27% during June 2020 when contrasted with the fares of $19.303 Mn in May 2020, the PBS information uncovered.
